KPL CONTINUES WITH ITS WORLDWIDE SCIENTIFIC EXAMINATIONS AND RESEARCHES

(13.09.2002) In October, Heads of ADANA, ISTANBUL and DIYARBAKIR Criminal Police Laboratories have gone to France for a week in order to exchange information and experience, talk about various training opportunities and hold a study visit to the technical and scientific centers of French Police in the framework of acitivities of Security Cooperation which was made between our country and France.

REORGANIZATION IN KPL

(12.09.2002) In the framework of reorganization activities for a more efficient and more active performance in KPL, which aims at becoming the top amongst the worldwide forensic laboratories, “Regulation on the Establishment, Duty and Operation of General Directorate of Security, The Department of Criminal Police Laboratories and The Regional Directorates of Criminal Police Laboratories”, which was re-prepared in order to control the duty and operational principles of KPL Department and KPL Directrates, was put into force through the approval of Interior Minister on 23.08.2002.

CHANGE OF DUTY IN KPL

(09.09.2002) Following the resignation of Irfan BAYAR on 08.08.2002 in order to become candidate in 3 November Elections, who have been working as KPL Head since 24.04.2002, Seyit DEMIRCI, who had been functioning as the Vice President in KPL, has been appointed has taken over.

KPL HAS BECOME A MEMBER OF ENFSI

(June 04th, 2002) KPL's membership to ENFSI was approved on May 25th, 2002.

KPL IN THE CONVENTION ON LINGUISTICS

(June 04th, 2002) The first forensic decleration in the history of Conventions on Linguistics was presented by Sergeant Cem YUKSEL.
